The Center
Where you have your surgery performed is almost as important as who does the surgery. Would you like a hospital or an out-patient center? Think about it -- which is safer? If you are not ready to go home, no one will rush you out -- some patients need a few more hours -- we are staffed 24 hours a day and we would rather you stay with us if you are not ready to go home. Have a bit more pain than you are comfortable with, stay in the hospital until the pain is under control. Having nausea - -we would rather you stay with us and let us take care of you -- not something you find elsewhere.
Surgical Specialty Hospital is a physician owned hospital, originally purchased by a group of neurosurgeons and orthopedic surgeons that were tired of hospitals that put profit before patients. More experience with the band than any center in Arizona. In fact we place more bands than anyone in California, New Mexico, Nevada, or Arizona.
