Longer Life
Conclusions in a study out of Italy showed that patients who had a laparoscopic adjustable band had a longer lifespan than those who did not have the procedure -- patients who had comparable age, gender, and BMI. On average patients who had the laparoscopic adjustable band had a five year 60% lower risk of death than comparable morbidly obese patients.
