This has been a wild year. An election, the economy, and our first year where we were able to see some great results with the new AP band! As many of you know, the AP band was first used by us this last year, and it quickly became the only band we used. The reason was simple: it had a lot of factors that we like. The band is soft, it is low pressure, and it buckles and unbuckles easily. Our results are spectacular! We think there are two reasons: first the band -- which we have changed the name from "Advanced Platform" to "Advanced Performance." But more important, is learning how to use the band. The outstanding weight loss is something that we had heard of from our colleagues in Australia, who had the band first, but we were shocked when we compared it to other bands. But we really find a difference in how people use their band -- and that is the most important. Those simple things that we teach our patients, and re-emphasize, and go through everytime they come in for an adjustment or a visit.
